Starbursts go offinside my head
Triggering giggles randomly
I am happy
And the world shines
Thoughts of fun and friends
And stressfree moments
Of simple joy
Chase away the clouds
Leaving the intense fuschia and violet
Of sunrise on the horizon
A sun that never truly sets
Unless I will it to do so
And even then
The stars beam down
Winking at one another
In silent approval
Of the joy in the world
